Jon Page is currently working for World-Wide sales in HP. Formerly he was founder and  Managing Director of Mentus Solutions Ltd, a company focused on helping clients evaluate, select and implement Data Warehousing solutions.  

Prior to this Jon was the Vice President for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing in Oracle EMEA, where he was responsible for all product and solution sales in these categories across over 30 countries. He has over twenty years experience in IT of which eighteen were spent deploying Relational technologies.

In the 80’s after managing both Oracle (Data General) and ADABAS  (IBM MVS) systems at Grand Metropolitan Mr. Page was appointed Vice President at Security Pacific Hoare Govett, in charge of all Relational Database developments.  In this role he managed the selection, purchase and implementation of the Ingres RDBMS and defined and enforced application and data standards for all Ingres applications. 

Prior to its merger with AT&T, Mr. Page spent seven years as a founder member of Teradata Europe during which he was intimately involved in very large Data Warehouse design and technology planning projects in many major banks (Abbey National - UK, TSB - UK, RABO Bank - Netherlands, Union Bank of Norway), airlines (British Airways), Telco companies (BT, Telecom Italia) and retail organizations (W.H.Smith - UK, Great Universal Stores - UK) throughout Europe. He built a new and profitable Professional Services group within Teradata Europe and was a key person in the development of Teradata UK from a staff of 10 to over 100.

Mr. Page has a Bachelor or Science degree and post-graduate degree from Liverpool University in the UK, is a member of the British Computer Society, is a certified Systems Analyst (CCTA) and has authored a book on Relational Databases. Mr. Page is an internationally respected industry commentator and regularly speaks at international conferences.

Mr Page has recently released a book ‘Building a BI Architecture Fit for the 21st Century’.

David Walker

David Walker has worked in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing space since 1990, first as an end user, then at a software house before becoming the technical leader for databases at hardware vendor Sequent Computer Systems.
In 1995 he left to become a founder and co-owner of Data Management & Warehousing, a boutique consultancy specializing in large-scale business intelligence systems.

David and his team have worked around the world on projects designed to deliver the maximum benefit to the business by converting data into information and finding ways in which to help businesses exploit that information.
David’s project work has given him wide industry experiences including Telcos (Energis, Turkcell, MTC Kuwait, Telkom SA, Swisscom, Retevision), Finance (Virgin, Aviva, Prudential, Akbank, Alfabank), Retail (Albert Heijn, LMUK), Manufacturing (Diageo, Mars Novar) and Transport (Network Rail).
