Business Objects Enterprise XI

Among the main business intelligence (BI) tools are products that are designed for visualization and analysis of data from various systems that are built on standard databases (Oracle, MS SQL, IBM DB2, Sybase and others.). Last Business Objects XI products line is a member of new generation of business analysis tools.

Newest BI-platform contains web-portal for access to Web Intelligence (Desktop Intelligence) documents and/or Crystal Reports, administrator’s tools, scheduler for reports updating and delivery according to schedule. Business Objects Enterprise XI (ВОЕ) as well includes Designer that enables to create semantic layer (universes), which is used for еWeb Intelligence and Dashboard Manager.

Besides described, there are additional options for Business Objects Enterprise:

• Live Office – allows to integrate and to update Business Objects reports in MS Office documents;
• Auditor – is used for analysis of BI-platform load and of reports usage history by end users.
